We are sending this letter, along with photos of our event, to our elected officials, Representative Murphy and Senators Lieberman and Dodd.

Dear _______,

I am writing to inform you that once again on the Third Friday of the month, when we in Cornwall, CT, along people across the country observe the Iraq Moratorium, 37 people, nearly all us your constituents, gathered at Cornwall's Town Hall. We heard Michael Hoffman, a founding member of Iraq Veterans Against the War, speak.

Michael started with the way he was lured into service by well-trained and seductive recruiters and from there went on to show the incredible damage of the invasion and occupation and also how it will be impossible to change as long as US troops remain there.

A powerful moment came when another Iraq veteran, Jeff Bartos of New Hartford, underlined Hoffman's points against the war. He recently joined IVAW after serving in Iraq during 2006-7.

Once again we in the Iraq Moratorium: Cornwall edition call on you do what the people of CT elected you to do: End This War!
