The office of Congresswoman Doris Matsui, a Democrat who refuses to act to stop the war, is upstairs. Some participants may go up and hold a "Sit In" in the lobby of her office (if you are interested in taking part, please RSVP). We'll talk to her aides about constituent opposition to the war. When they finally ask us to leave, some of us don't. Then we get a ticket for misdemeanor trespass, which gets dismissed since the courts are all jammed up and they consider it a time-waster.

Remember--you DO NOT have to commit civil disobedience in Matsui's office, you don't have to wear pink - just showing up makes a difference - and even with small turnouts of a dozen people, we've received media coverage - so make your voice heard!
