Standing for Peace-- Refusing to Quit
Alliance for Peace and Justice; and Student Action Network
Join us on Friday July 18 at Toomer's Corner-4:45pm to 5:45pm. This gathering, on the 3rd Friday of each month, will be one of many across the country that demands a stop to the war in Iraq.

As we yearn for peace, we are painfully aware that our nation waged a pre-emptive, unnecessary, illegal, immoral war on another country. Many thousands are dead, injured, suffering and fleeing, because of us.

Feel free to bring your own appropriate sign, or use one of ours. You can purchase posterboard across the street at J&M Bookstore across the street from Toomer's Corner.

Peace is hard work. Stand with others. Hope to see you there!

DMZ is our contribution to the Iraq Moratorium project, which complements large regional and national demonstrations with regular local actions, helping keep opposition to the war in Iraq alive and agitation against it active.

Bring your signs and minds, ready to chalk, talk, play music, paint art, and sing leftist songs with caring and sharing, in unity declaring that we are "chilling against the villins" in this zone to show our independence from the state. [More info,_Contact,_Updates,_Comments_and_Reports]
